Leading urology consultants

The London Urologists was set up by urology consultants Mr Michael Dinneen and Mr Christopher Ogden, who each have more than 20 years’ experience as consultants at teaching hospitals.

Both Mr Dinneen and Mr Ogden have extensive experience in general urology, placing patient experience at the centre of patient care. Mr Chris Ogden also provides treatment using state-of-the-art robotic-assisted technology.

Consultations are available at Chelsea Outpatients Centre with Mr Dinneen and The Princess Grace Hospital and The Harley Street Clinic with Mr Ogden, all part of HCA Healthcare UK.

Your consultation

From the moment of your first consultation our consultants ensure that you understand what will happen and what options are available to you.

Our urologists encourage you to ask questions and will give and outline of timescales around diagnosis and treatment. Your first consultation may include:

Review of your medical family history
Physical examination
Blood or urine tests

Diagnosis

Investigations to diagnose problems with the prostate or urinary system are important to help your consultant deliver the right treatment for you.

Investigations will vary dependent on your symptoms but can include:

Blood tests (including a PSA test)
Urine tests (this may include a flow rate test)
Abdominal ultrasound
Prostate tissue biopsy
Semen Analysis (Seminogram)
